Mr. Turner has specialized for over 30 years in estate planning and estate administration including fiduciary and estate tax returns.  He also advises clients on the formation of corporations, partnerships and limited liability companies.  Mr. Turner represents clients in residential and farm real estate transactions.


Mr. Turner was born in Lincoln, Illinois.  He received his B.A. from Tulane University of Louisiana in 1968 and his M.A. from Illinois state University, Normal, Illinois in 1970.  He received his J.D. in 1973 from the University of Illinois College of Law and was admitted to the Bar in the same year.


Mr. Turner is a member and has served on many section committees of the Illinois State Bar Association and the American Bar Association and the Board of Directors of the McLean County Bar Association.  Mr. Turner is a prior member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Illinois Institute of Continuing Legal Education.  He is also a Life Fellow of the American Bar Foundation and the Illinois Bar Foundation, and a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.  Mr. Turner was selected by the McLean County Bar Association for the Lincoln Award of Excellence in 2009.


Mr. Turner has served on the Board of the BroMenn Foundation, the BroMenn Physician Management Corp. and currently serves as Chairman of the BroMenn System Board.

Mr. Turner is an active member and has served as a Trustee and Elder of the Second Presbyterian Church.  He is a long-time member of the Kiwanis Club and has participated in the fund-raising projects for Camp Limberlost which benefits disadvantaged children.
